Leila Kayondo Caught With a Stolen Car

The ‘Awo’ Ugandan musician Leila Kayondo  has been  found with a stolen car  that has the number plate in her names.

 An alliance was made by Uganda Interpol and other countries in both east,southern and central part of Africa.  The  Alliance aimed  at curbing down  human  trafficking and  environment crime

Operation  Usalama 3 started on 29^th - 30^th  June 2016 in various parts of the country in which police managed to recover four vehicles.

 Its said that Leila Kayondo  has been with that  car for  long ever since she was pregnant , she said its a gift from her Ex husband Sk Mbuga given to her as a gift after Mbuga finding out that 

Leila was carrying his baby .

Today’s press conference at Interpol headquarters in Kololo ,so far three cars that  had been stolen have been found.These were shown to the press  including Leila Kayondo's silver Mercedes Benz.

Director Interpol,Hassan Kasingye addressed the conference and said most cars are stolen from Europe and brought to Africa mostly Uganda and Congo where they find steady market ,

The Ugandan government is planing on how to take back the stolen cars to Europe where they  were stolen.
