La Uganda is inspired and glad to present to you
the self proclaimed young smiling man of God who dumped his girlfriend for God. The now
catching gospel singer Josiah Musherure a.k.a Pastor Musherure famously known for
his new single ‘Kangume
Musherure’ is such an amazing man; and today we sat him down at our
offices in Kansanga to share with us his intimate life, career and music. Below
is what he had to say:

La Ug: Tell us more about yourself?
Musherure: Am Musherure Josiah of New Jeruselem Healing
Power Church in Old Kampala. Am a student at Kampala Secondary School and am in
S.6. I come from a religious family of Bishop Kwefuga Patrick and Florah
Kwefuga of Kiruhura District.
La Ug: How old are you Musherure?
Musherure: Am 23 years old.
La Ug: What inspired you to join Gospel music?
Musherure: The love of Christ !
La Ug: When did you produce your first single?
Musherure: I produced it in April!
La Ug: What is the song all about?
Musherure: The song is about worshiping and praising. There
is glory in the song.
La Ug: With only three months now, the song is having
some good airplay, how do you do it?
Musherure: (Smiles) it’s just God’s blessings.
La Ug: How much did it cost you?
Musherure: For audio i used 120k working with Onyx
Records in Kasubi.
La Ug: What inspired you to sit down and produce
such a great song?
Musherure: The love of Christ and for the people. To transfer hope and peace from God to the
people.
La Ug: Since you’re still a student, did you have
any support from anyone in the song’s production?
Musherure: I was supported by my pastor Caleb Mugarura.
La Ug: When and how did it feel like when putting
that song on paper?
Musherure: I started writing it long time ago. God
started giving me words to put. I felt some words coming into me.
La Ug: So how do you find life as an artiste and
as a Young pastor?
Musherure: I find life good. I have not seen any challenges.

La Ug: What are some of your achievements in music
so far?
Musherure: I sung at someone’s wedding and I was given
300,000/=
Besides am gaining popularity and even some people meet
me and give me some good money.
La Ug: Any future plans?
Musherure: Yes. My future plan is to save God as a pastor
and a businessman. Because I want to do BBA at Campus.
La Ug: Do you have any Girlfriend?
Musherure: I got born again in 2013, and I dumped my
girlfriend for God.
La Ug: Before dumping her, did you have any sexual
relation with her?
Musherure: The only sin I did was to kiss and caress
her. Nothing went beyond that.
La Ug: I didn’t expect you to deceive before God!
Musherure: Yes nothing else happened.
La Ug: So when are you planning to Get married?
Musherure: Getting married? Ha, after 5 or 6 years from
now. I still have a lot to do. (Smiles lightly).
La Ug: Any message to the youths?
Musherure: I will first give them a verse, cor. 15:10.
They have to give their lives to Jesus Christ. He’s the only one to turn you
useful in your family, friends and everywhere if at all you have been useless
to them.
La Ug: And your fans?
Musherure: To pray for me to bring out what they expect
out of me and what makes my God happy.
